Spring is in full bloom in Jinguan City (Chengdu), and Wenjiang District of Chengdu once again embraces a moment of glory.

On March 26, the 2026 Future XDC New Drug Conference arrived as scheduled, setting off a new wave of ideas and technologies in the highland of antibody-drug conjugate innovation. More than 100 industry pioneers took the stage to share insights, and over 1,000 industrial elites gathered together. The exhibition area was bustling with visitors, and the venue was packed to capacity. The online live broadcast attracted nearly 50,000 views.

This is the third grand event jointly organized by Tongxieyi and Chengdu Medical City. Centered on the positioning of “In China, For Global”, this annual gathering has become the highest-profile, most influential, and most comprehensive brand event in the domestic conjugate drug sector, serving as an indispensable innovation landmark for professionals in ADC and nuclear medicine.

The global ADC market is accelerating toward the milestone of 100 billion yuan, while innovations in emerging XDC sectors such as nuclear medicine and peptide conjugates are surging forward.

At this year’s conference, many overseas guests traveled specially to attend. Domestic and overseas representatives exchanged ideas on the same stage, with the nuclear medicine forum and ADC forum complementing each other brilliantly. This year marks the third consecutive year that Tongxieyi has hosted the Future XDC New Drug Conference in Chengdu Medical City. Over the past three years, we have witnessed continuous breakthroughs in XDC technology routes and the increasingly mature industrial ecosystem—from ADCs to nuclear medicine, from bispecific antibodies to peptide conjugates.

First of all, I would like to extend my sincere gratitude to Chengdu Medical City. The Future of China's ADC Innovative Drugs

This year's Government Work Report listed biomedicine as an emerging pillar industry for the first time. This is not only a leap in policy positioning, but also a fundamental confirmation of the industry's value. Under this top-level design, the development of China's ADC innovative drugs enjoys broader institutional space and resource support.

To truly maximize the value of China's innovative drugs, they need to enter the global market. However, globalization cannot be achieved overnight. It means owning global rights to assets, building global teams, and seeking global partners—every step is an accumulation of capabilities.

The depth of a technology platform determines a company's ability to resist risks. From a single technology platform to possessing complete process development and clinical development capabilities, the improvement of the system means greater space for value creation. The dual-wheel drive of platforms and pipelines serves as the ballast to withstand cyclical fluctuations in the industry.

ADC+IO is a combination worthy of attention. The future industrial landscape in this field will be highly dynamic. Those who can find the optimal solution in the layout of combination therapies will have the opportunity to take the initiative in the next round of competition.

The journey from Biotech to MNC is not only a vision but also a path. In the next five to ten years, China is expected to birth five to ten MNCs with global competitiveness. This requires enterprises to have both the courage to aim high and the determination to execute steadily.

Next-Generation ADC/Antibody New Drug Development

From technological iteration to industrial collaboration, this session explores the upgrading logic of the ADC/antibody new drug sector in 2026.

Representatives from companies including Affinity Biosciences, Favour Therapeutics, Kebao Bio, and others analyzed R&D directions in the "post-Enhertu era" from perspectives such as the mechanistic synergy of dual-payload ADCs and combination strategies of bispecific antibodies and ADCs in the IO 2.0 era.

Hoyuan Pharma, Jiaolian Bio, and Shijian Bio showcased cutting-edge explorations including AI-enabled molecular design, novel linker development, and clinical validation of next-generation technology platforms.

Industrialization topics such as key focuses in non-clinical research and continuous purification processes also sparked in-depth discussions. Representatives from Saifu Pharma and Tofflon shared practical experience in ADC safety evaluation and process development.

The roundtable discussion was moderated by Xia Mingde of Innolake Therapeutics, with executives from CSPC Pharmaceutical Group, Newera Therapeutics, Xilingyuan Pharma, Kebao Bio, and other enterprises participating.

In the competitive ADC sector, interdisciplinary collaboration and innovative differentiation mechanisms will become the key to success in the next stage.

New Targets, New Mechanisms, New Molecules

This session focuses on cutting-edge explorations in XDC drug R&D, featuring multi-dimensional discussions covering payload innovation, platform technologies, and novel molecular formats.

Jacobio Pharmaceuticals shared the latest advances in payload development for next-generation ADCs. WuXi XDC showcased the practice of its integrated platform technology in conjugate drug R&D. Allist Pharmaceuticals analyzed the R&D logic of next-generation ADCs beyond traditional platforms from a data-driven perspective.

Sinovel Pharmaceutical focused on the transition from ADC to AOC, exploring the new revolution in targeted therapy. Duoxi Biologics and Welstar Biotech delivered presentations on ADC platform technologies and differentiated development pathways for CD3/4-1BB bispecific antibodies respectively. GenSci presented explorations in dual-target ADCs for the treatment of solid tumors.

During the roundtable discussion moderated by Yin Gang of WuXi XDC, executives from Duoxi Biologics, Sinovel Pharmaceutical, Jacobio Pharmaceuticals, Dongyao Pharmaceutical and other enterprises expressed their insights. Breakthroughs in new target discovery and novel molecular formats have opened up vast clinical space for the XDC sector, and systematic capabilities in platform technologies will become the key to differentiated competition.

From target discovery and ligand screening to the exploration of combination therapies, this session outlined the cutting-edge landscape of the RDC sector over the course of one day.

Yili Pharma and Lannacheng Bio shared global innovative R&D trends in RDC, including dual-target technology. Zhinhe Bio and Transcenta Group explored the potential of novel ligands from the perspective of antibody technology. Hailiang Bio introduced the application of mRNA display and AI technologies in cyclic peptide screening. Na'an Bio presented explorations on combination therapies of bispecific ADCs and RDCs.

Two roundtable discussions were moderated by Li Xiang of Fosun Pharma and Wang Zheng of Sino Novo Therapeutics respectively, with participation from Novartis, Chengdu SHTai Medical, Kelun-Biotech, Lilly China, Starscape Capital, Zhongsheng Peptides, Hezhou Pharma, Boray Innovation, Jinghe Bio, Ruihe Bio and other institutions.

Major pharmaceutical companies and investors focused on the industrialization pathways of original innovation, while biotech companies entered the RDC innovation market through technological differentiation.

This session focused on the global expansion of nuclear medicine drugs, conducting multi-dimensional discussions from supply chain layout to cross-border cooperation. Zhang Yumin from Ankerui kicked off the session with a presentation titled "Multi-level and Diversified International Cooperation for Nuclear Medicine Drugs", setting the tone for the entire day’s agenda.

Companies including Fulian Technology, NorthStar, and Thor Medical delivered reports on the global supply landscape and trends of key radionuclides such as Ac-225 and Pb-212. Navigo Proteins, Junkang Litai, and 3D Medicines presented technological advances from the perspectives of innovative ligand development, applications of PSMA imaging agents, and clinical research on low-dose RDCs. Oncoinvent and ITM shared their experience in the clinical development of alpha-emitting radiopharmaceuticals and the scaling of isotope supply chains.

The roundtable discussion was moderated by Chao Heyun from TopAlliance Biosciences, with participants from Bracco Diagnostics, SHINE, AstraZeneca, Tailong Investment, Bayer, SPIC Nuclide Co-Creation and other institutions. The panel dialogue centered on global R&D innovation in radiopharmaceuticals, supply chain deployment, BD transactions, and investment and financing trends.

International competition in nuclear medicine has shifted from single-product licensing to a systemic competition covering nuclide supply chains, technology platforms, and clinical development capabilities.
